I know how it feels ok? I have lost someone to suicide, and I wish every day that I had known just something, anything, that I could have said or done to prevent it.

During the creation of this mural the pandemic was in it's full blown state and my friend lost her 22 year old son. I was shook. Without knowing what else to do, I initiated a fundraiser that successfully raised $1,000 in order to donate to the Rocky Mountain Crisis Hotline. It means something to have someone to talk to, because life can be so hard. The funds helped to aid their crucial efforts in suicide prevention.

This mural, nestled among seven other artworks by various artists, forms part of a vibrant tapestry advocating for positive social awareness. Each piece uniquely voices crucial societal topics, such as Human Equality, Depression, Community Inclusion and mortality, creating a powerful collective statement in the heart of the community of Broomfield and across the Front Range.
