This unique, abstract painting is part of a limited 2023 five painting series called "Sky And...". 

The artwork is created using heavy-bodied acrylic paint with palette knives and shaping tools, on stretched canvas, measuring 11 x 14 inches.  The canvas is displayed in a one inch deep white, floating frame with a black inset.

Behind the painting:  A beautiful masterpiece of contrasting orange tones with wisps of white, against a backdrop of multi-hued blues lures the viewer's yearning for the tale of this story. As the sky darkens, the masts seem to shiver, silently hinting at an untold mystery steeped in lore. It's a visually striking and captivating art piece that will transport you to another world.

This original painting from the Sky And... series, titled 'Ghost Ship' pays homage to my son's fascination with ships during his childhood. After his interests shifted, we were left with a collection of abandoned ship drawings like a haunting graveyard of memories.

This artwork is available as fine art prints, canvas and metal in various sizes.
